It’s everyone’s favourite time of the summer . . . RBC Bluesfest!!
Tourists come from all over the country to enjoy the songs of some of their favourite artists and take part in the fantastic festivities.
The first Bluesfest festival was held in 1994 at Majors Hill Park and with every year it has attracted bigger artists an ever-growing number of festival goers. The festival has expanded to attract more than 300, 000 attendees with countless artists, 5 stages, tons of activities, a food court, beer tent, and VIP area.

One of the biggest names at Bluesfest is happening tonight! Eric Church – An American country music singer-songwriter who has released six studio albums since 2005. Some of his best hits include; “Springsteen”, “Record Year”, “Give Me Back My Hometown”, “Talladega”, and “Drink in My Hand”.
Eric Church will be performing at City Stage from 9:30 pm to 11 pm, along with many other talented artists at various set times and stages.

Snoop Dogg (Saturday, July 13th @ 9:30 pm – City Stage)
Backstreet Boys (Sunday, July 14th @ 9:30 pm – City Stage)
Bluesfest has a lot going on this year that even if you are in between concerts, or wanting to take a break, you will surely have fun!
Onsite Attractions:
Bluesville: They have a Youth Ottawa interactive art display, seven storey tall ferris wheel, carnival games, plus Bluesville stage for a more intimate concert experience.
The Fort: This area is right beside the Canadian War Museum and is a known area for meeting up with your friends, grabbing a drink at the Coors Light Beer Tent, or other awesome activities, like RBCxMusic, made for interactive singing and song-writing — think upgraded karaoke!
Festival Ready Zone by Toyota: Toyota is sharing their Yurt for a complimentary one-stop shop of refreshment and recharging! Whether it’s your phone, your makeup, your hair, or you just want to cool off, you will definitely want to check it out!
Videotron: Located at the Main Bowl and at The Fort, the Pixel Media Wall’s are a great way to capture your amazing day!
The Big Chill: A fun an exclusive experience for all, with a DJ on the Spin Stage, private bars, lounge chairs, games, and sampling.
The Wall: Found at the Casino du Lac Leamy, This is an interactive dancing game that you honestly need to try to believe!
